The Original King of Comedy, Bernie Mac was laid to rest on Saturday, August 16, in Chicago, and thousands turned out for the service. He was obviously a well-loved actor and comedian by many, not to mention his family, who lost a wonderful husband and father.

Friday night's plane crash saw drummer Travis Barker and music dj DJ AM luckily surviving but both being badly burned. Unfortunately four others did not survive. Those who died are pilot Sarah Lemmon, co-pilot James Bland, Chris Baker, and Charles Still. A statement, on behalf of all four victims' families was issued, "The families wish to thank fans from all over the world for their prayers and concern. Deepest sympathy is expressed to the loved ones of those who perished in the crash.

Travis Barker lost not only his assistant, but a dear friend, in the plane crash last weekend, that saw Travis severely burned. Barker's apparel company Famous Stars and Straps has released a tribute video to Christopher "Lil Chris" Baker to honor and remember him.

Jennifer Hudson's nephew, 7-year-old Julian King has been missing since the bodies of his grandmother and uncle (Hudson's mom and brother) were found on Friday afternoon. Authorities are now saying that a child's body has been found in a vehicle on Chicago's West Side this morning and they are now investigating.

Jennifer Hudson and her sister Julia are grieving the loss of their loved ones - their mom Darnell Hudson Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and Julia's only child, 7-year-old Julian King, were all murdered last week. Now they will lay them to rest and remember their lives, here on this earth. There will be both a private funeral for close friends and family, as well as a public memorial service for people who would like to pay their respects.
