No, your invitation didn't get lost in the mail, you just weren't invited - unless you live in the French Village where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt make their home for the time being.  Then, perhaps, you might have a shot of being at the party of the century.

I'm assuming it's the party of the century, seeing as it's being held by the Jolie-Pitts.  Anyway, Angie and Brad want to get to know their neighbours, so they're having a little soirée - a sort of 'drinks reception.'

Angelina and Brad moved to a swanky mansion in southern France a few weeks before they welcomed their twins, Knox and Vivienne on July 12, and since they were kind of busy, they hadn't previously had a chance to get to know the people of Brignol.

A source tells the Daily Express, "They want to get stuck into village life and become real locals.  They have met town officials who said it is a tradition for newcomers to host an early evening drinks reception for everyone who lives in the village."

Hopefully Angie isn't too tired - chasing six kids (well two aren't moving around much, but they're at least helping the economy) is hard work!
