Who knew Angelina Jolie was a thief?  And who did she steal from?  Believe it or not, Mr. Tom Cruise himself.....

The mom of six has reportedly set her sights on a role that Cruise was to play in the spy thriller Edwin A. Salt.  Yes, Angie pretty much stole the role from Tommy.

The 33-year-old actress is apparently close to a deal to play the lead character of a CIA officer who is accused of being a Russian spy.

The role is being rewritten by screenwriter Kurt Wimmer, for Jolie seeing as she's a chick and Cruise is a, you know, dude.   Angie gets what Angie wants!

Phillip Noyce, an Australian filmmaker wll direct.

Angelina is going to be busy - maybe that's why she's in a rush to get back to her pre-baby weight?  She's got to be in shape to be a sexy CIA officer!
